HELLO!!
I'M SO EXCITED TO MEET YOU!!
Hey there and welcome! I'm Faith, the photographer behind Faithful Impressions and here's a little about where I've been:
I grew up in a little town in Indiana with four siblings. We have always been a tight-knit family and we love spending time together whenever we can! Growing up in Northwest Indiana there wasn't always a ton to do so I spent my summers playing in volleyball leagues, hanging out with my siblings, doing any kind of art, and coming up to Michigan to see friends which is how I eventually met my wonderful husband. We met when we were 12 through a mutual friend and stayed friends all through high school. We started dating shortly after high school until early 2021 when we got married and I moved from Indiana to Michigan. Our little family grew from 2 to 3 in 2022 when we welcomed our sweet little boy! If I'm not doing photography, you can guarantee you'll find me spending time with my boys!
Who I am as a photographer:
My obsession for all things art began when I was 9. My oldest sister started taking an art class and, in true younger sibling fashion, I wanted to be just like her. I started drawing and painting and my love for it became my own. From drawing and painting to band and choir, you could always count on the fact that the fine arts were a huge part of my life. When I picked up a camera for the first time in 2018, it was no different. I fell in love with all things photography. While I still enjoy expressing myself through music and painting, photography has taken a key role in my life. I love being able to tell people's stories and capture their emotions. My goal is to make all my clients feel comfortable being their true selves when in front of a camera! During a typical session, I usually bring along a speaker and will play some music for a bit of background noise! If you are worried about how to pose or what to do with your hands, no worries! I've got you covered. I will often use a mixture of prompts and poses to direct you on how to stand, what to do with your hands, etc. The most important thing to remember is that while we are looking to get some awesome pictures, we're also there to have a good time! I can't wait to meet you and start making memories!
